On Wednesday, December 1 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Collegium Medicum (al. IX Wieków Kielc 19a, building B, room B1 / 11).
You will have the possibility to get vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer vaccine.
We strongly encourage everyone to get vaccinated.
This is the only way for getting back to normal again, so that we can meet each other safely.

New opportunities for students and graduates of Collegium Medicum

Students of Collegium Medicum of the Jan Kochanowski University can continue their education in the United States and Australia. Meeting all the accreditation criteria, Collegium Medicum has been on the website World Directory of Medical Schools since 2017. However, at the moment, an annotation "Sponsor notes" has been added as the basis for continuing education in the field of medicine in both the United States and Australia. ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) is a pass for the future doctors to gain experience and qualifications in medicine in the United States and Australia. It enhances the reputation and prestige of our university - says prof. dr hab. Stanisław Głuszek, Rector of the Jan Kochanowski University.

Scapula Aurea 2019

We are pleased to inform that our English Division student team (Marta Maria Rodruguez Cruz, Zoe Calvo Ferreira, Tebarek Al-Sayad) was ranked third in the XXXIVth Anatomy Competition Scapula Aurea 2019 final in the Medical University of Silesia. In the individual competition our student Marta Maria Rodriguez Cruz was ranked 4th. The winners were presented with statuettes by prof. Grzegorz Bajor (Head of the Anatomy Dept., Medical University of Silesia), prof. Jerzy Walocha (on behalf of the Polish Anatomical Society) and Giorgio Albonetti (the president of Edra LSWR).

Meeting with Cliff Nowell

On 18th September 2018 the meeting with CLIFF NOWELL PROFESSOR OF ECONOMICS DEAN OF THE OFFICE OF INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS at Weber State University took place.

The quests visited all Departments at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences as well as talking about future cooperation with Jan Kochanowki University.

On 5th December 2017 the meeting with Pro-rector for Medical affairs took place.

Professor Stanisław Głuszek met all students of the Ist year individually, he said welcome words and shook his hand with each student. They heard a lot of warm words:  We have begun the academic year 2017/2018 at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Jan Kochanowski University. This academic year is also special because we start 2nd year of training at the Faculty of Medicine in English (English Division) and 3 rd year of Medicine in Polish language.

15th November – 18th November the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences have the pleasure to host dr Nelroy Jones- Resident Intern from University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, USA. Students of Medicine both in English and Polish language take part in the lectures conducted by the Doctor. Lectures based on active learning, team-based activities and work on cases, are a new experience and a great challenge for our students.
