Professor Stanisław Głuszek met all students of the Ist year individually, he said welcome words and shook his hand with each student. They heard a lot of warm words:  We have begun the academic year 2017/2018 at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Jan Kochanowski University. This academic year is also special because we start 2nd year of training at the Faculty of Medicine in English (English Division) and 3 rd year of Medicine in Polish language. We have more students than last year who are from various countries and different nationalities. I would like to state on behalf of the Faculty authorities and my own, that we will all take care of the quality of education. Our Department is a special and unique university department, because after any direction graduate does not have such a direct impact on the fate of another person as the Faculty of Medicine, and particularly in the direction of a doctor. What the field offer is impressive didactic bases, up-to- date laboratories as well as an extensive range of clinical facilities and one of the best hospitals in Poland. High level of education is ensured by a highly skilled and experienced staff, including professionally qualified professors and doctors from Poland and The United States. Our staff declare all manner of assistance in terms of educational, social, personal and psychological aspects. I appeal to all students, and especially to you - the students of English Division of understanding our requirements and the need to respond to them. Thanks to you, the students from various countries and of different nationalities, we have to constantly develop ourselves and expend our horizons.
